From genetics to genomics: the study and management of populations – Insights from empirical studies of deleterious mutations
My research falls within the field of population genetics and aims to understand the factors that influence variations in population genetic diversity and to provide guidance on population management.
My current research project focuses on the empirical study of the genomic architecture of the deleterious mutation burden in the context of invasions, expansions, or the isolation of small populations.
