The research questions I address focus on the eco-evolutionary dynamics of herbivorous insect communities in agricultural landscapes within the context of the ecological transition. My research aims, in particular, to understand the factors determining the distribution of crop pests and to infer their adaptive potential in the face of changes in the agricultural environment. Currently, I am specifically interested in the impact of phenotypic plasticity on oviposition choice, as well as the interactions between phenotypic plasticity and adaptive dynamics.
