Je travaille sur la systématique et l’évolution des insectes des agrosystèmes tropicaux au moyen d’approches traditionnelles basées sur la morphologie (taxonomie) et d’outils moléculaires (résolution de complexes d’espèces, histoire évolutive, identification des communautés à haut débit).

Mes recherches se focalisent sur les charançons (coléoptères Curculionidae) dont certains représentants sont ravageurs de cultures, pollinisateurs ou agents de lutte biologique contre les plantes envahissantes.
