Emilie Mendes will carry out an experiment to test whether experimental populations of D. suzukii raised for more than 120 generations at the CBGP are locally adapted to their respective fruit environments. She will carry out a competition experiment in order to compare the relative selective value of each population in the environment in which it has evolved compared with the selective values in the other environments.

During her 6-month assistant engineer contract, she will be mainly supervised by Nicolas Rode, Mathieu Gautier and Candice Deschamps.
