Daniel will investigate the potential for ancestral interspecific hybridisation in invasive species. This study will draw on available NGS data for two invasive insect species (Drosophila suzukii and Harmonia axyridis) and closely related non-invasive species. Addocs statistical analysis tools will be used. The primary biological model studied will be D. suzukii.
