I am responsible for upstream relations, monitoring, and carrying out some of the fieldwork at the CBGP.
Two-thirds of my time is spent providing technical support for Area 3: ecology and the evolution of zoonoses. I am involved in research into small mammal communities (wild rodents and bats) and into the interactions between reservoir hosts, pathogens and the microbiome.
For a third of my time, I provide technical support for Area 2: Ecology and Evolutionary Population Genetics. I am involved in research on the pine processionary caterpillar.
My main role at the CBGP is to organise and carry out fieldwork, and to manage the samples and data collected, with a view to ensuring they are āFAIRā (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable). I carry out taxonomic assessments of the animals studied (rodents, insects), some of the descriptive and spatial analyses, and disseminate the results to non-academic partners.
